Hasul Korean Cafe and Restaurant
About This Spot
Stepping into Hasul Korean Cafe and Restaurant feels like discovering a quietly inviting corner of Hat Yai where genuine Korean flavors come to life without pretense. Nestled on a bustling street yet tucked away enough to offer a calm, relaxed setting, the space greets visitors with a simplicity that immediately puts you at ease. The atmosphere is unhurried, the kind of place where conversations flow easily, and every visitor can settle into the warm hum of shared meals and familiar comfort.
While the decor leans toward subtle understatement rather than overt Korean styling, the heart of the experience is in the food—comforting, thoughtfully crafted, and deeply authentic. The scent of sizzling pork belly stewing alongside kimchi gently fills the air, inviting both longtime fans and curious newcomers to sit down and savor the unique interplay of textures and tastes. Each dish feels like a careful balance of the vibrant and the homey, drawing you into a culinary story that’s both layered and welcoming.
What stands out here isn’t just the menu’s variety, but how it offers moments to pause and reflect on the simple joys of sharing food—a bowl of bibimbap carefully assembled to be both nourishing and satisfying, or a sweet mango bingsu that cools the spirit on a warm day. The flavors carry a personal touch, a reminder that Korean cuisine is about warmth, community, and a little bit of everyday magic.
Hasul holds its own as a local favourite not because it shouts the loudest, but because it quietly embraces the wholesome. It’s a place where the portions feel generous without fussiness, where drinks like a bright orange soda or a smooth affogato become small celebrations within the meal, and where the relaxed pace encourages guests to linger a little longer and savor their moments.
For those wandering through Hat Yai, seeking a genuine taste of Korea away from the tourist clamor, Hasul offers a sincere invitation—not just to eat, but to experience a shared slice of daily life, crafted with care and enjoyed with simple joy.

The name says it all. Korean and K-mazing. They have extremely good looking meals and very reasonable portions. We only went for a quick drink one evening and decoded to definitely go back in the near future. They have some very unique drinks as well. My girlfriend had an orange soda and 3 weeks still cant stop craving it. I helped myself to a affogato (Basically ice-cream served with a shot of espresso to be mixed together) All and all it was probably a 100 Baht session bit definitely worth it. Thank you Hasul Korean Cafe for your great service and friendly staff!! Aroy! (Delicious)

It offers a variety of dishes. This is the original branch, and the second branch is at SIAM CENTER in Bangkok.

Been here for quite a few times but haven’t given a review yet. Here is where you get the most of Korean tastes in Hat Yai. The vibe maybe not so Korean but the size of fish and tastes are genuine!

Excellent Korean food and a fun atmosphere. I order this restaurant in foodpanda frequently. It was nice to go in person and experience a more expanded menu. I got the braised kimchi pork belly soup and it is by far my favorite way to eat kimchi. I want to go back and take my friends!

One of the best Korean restaurant in Hatyai. Dishes serve in quite big size, taste good with reasonable price.
